Northbridge Boston Main Campus has been verified as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons. The certification followed a 16-month verification process and on-site review of our pediatric trauma protocols, staffing, and outcomes.
Level I is the highest designation available for pediatric trauma care, requiring round-the-clock pediatric subspecialty availability, dedicated pediatric anesthesia, and a structured pediatric trauma research program.
Northbridge is now one of only a handful of regional hospitals in New England to hold both adult and pediatric Level I certifications.
