Northbridge has received its fourth consecutive Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The Magnet program recognizes hospitals that demonstrate sustained nursing excellence and superior patient outcomes; it is held by fewer than 10% of U.S. hospitals.
The redesignation includes specific commendations for Northbridge's nurse-led safety initiatives, the system-wide nurse education program, and patient outcomes in critical care.
"Magnet recognition is, ultimately, a reflection of nursing leadership at every level," said Susan Park, Chief Nursing Officer. "Our patients feel that leadership every day, even when the badge is invisible."
